This 1/100 scale model shows the Orione in service on Lake Como for the Società Gestione Navigazione Laghi di Como, the Lake Como public transport mobility company.

This 700 seat passenger ship is nearly 50 metres long and is 9 metres wide and was built in 2006 by Cantiere Navale di Pesaro S.p.A. The ship is equipped with restaurant and bar on board for the comfort of the passenger.

The model is 50 cm long and is 9 cm wide. The particularity of this model is that in spite of the small size, looking through the windows you can see the seats and the tables ready to accommodate passengers. As you can see, the seats and the table are very small.

The model is for display and is built in aious wood and the deck are built in birch plywood. The model sits on a Burmese teak base and is covered with a dust-proof cover.
